What this site does not do
No cookies. No analytics. No tracking. No forms, accounts or newsletters. The fonts, images and the short video clip are served from this site, not from a third party, so opening a page here sends no request to anyone else.
Hosting
The pages are served by Cloudflare Pages, run by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Like every web server, theirs records each request in a log: the address of the page, the time, your browser's name, and your IP address. These logs exist to keep the server running and to spot abuse, which is a legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, and Cloudflare keeps them only as long as that purpose needs, as its privacy policy sets out; the operator of this site has no access to them. Cloudflare serves the pages from data centres around the world, including in the EU. A data processing agreement is in place under Art. 28 GDPR, and transfers to the USA rest on Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR). Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what data is held about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable form. Since this site keeps no data about you, there will usually be nothing to find, but the request is yours to make at any time by email. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Germany, the one for the state you live in.
